Who was a teacher of Plato?

Aristotle was actually a student of Plato, not his teacher. Although Aristotle later developed his own philosophical system and became a significant figure in Western thought, he cannot be credited with teaching Plato, as their roles were reversed in the teacher-student dynamic.

Zeno, known primarily for his paradoxes, was not a teacher of Plato. He is more closely associated with the Eleatic school of philosophy and did not have a direct influence on Plato’s education or philosophical development.

Epicurus was a philosopher who lived after Plato and is best known for founding Epicureanism. His teachings focused on ethics, pleasure, and the pursuit of happiness, which are distinct from the philosophical inquiries of Plato, making him unrelated as a teacher.
