NIOSH: wear PPE when crushing:

Furosemide is a loop diuretic, and buspirone is an anxiolytic; neither of these drugs is classified as hazardous by NIOSH. While caution is always advisable when handling medications, the risks associated with crushing furosemide and buspirone do not warrant the same level of PPE use as with megestrol and dutasteride.

Glyburide is an oral hypoglycemic agent, and acetazolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor. Neither of these drugs is listed as hazardous by NIOSH, indicating that they do not require PPE when crushed. The potential risks when handling these medications are significantly lower compared to those associated with megestrol and dutasteride.

Glipizide is another oral hypoglycemic, while zolpidem is a sedative-hypnotic. Similar to glyburide and acetazolamide, these medications are not classified as hazardous by NIOSH, and thus do not necessitate the use of PPE when crushed, unlike megestrol and dutasteride.
