The project manager just started testing a project team from which the previous project manager resigned. After a quick installation of the project, it is apparent that team morale is low due to continuous disagreement about how to complete tasks. Talks are taking longer than forecasted and the project is all schedule. What should the project manager do?

While creating a project timeline is important, doing so without addressing the underlying team issues will likely lead to further delays and dissatisfaction. A timeline alone cannot resolve interpersonal conflicts or boost team morale, which are critical for project success.

Informing stakeholders about the project deployment based on prior management decisions does not address the current challenges faced by the team. This response may lead to a lack of accountability and does not provide a constructive solution to the existing morale and disagreement issues among team members.

Issuing a change request may be necessary if delays continue, but it does not tackle the team's morale or the root causes of the disagreements. Extending the schedule without resolving the conflicts may only postpone the problems rather than solving them, potentially leading to further complications down the line.
